Preview of Lovecraft: Nightmare Suite

I will be appearing in Molotov Theatre Group's upcoming Halloween show Lovecraft: Nightmare Suite, running Thursday through Sundays at 7:30 pm, October 15 through November 8, at the DC Arts Center in Adams Morgan. Tickets are now on sale. Last year's Nightfall with Edgar Allan Poe sold out fairly quickly, so I advise getting your tickets early.

Daniel Spurgeon's adaptation of the works of HP Lovecraft are very faithful and are presented in the style of readers' theater, but with projections and other technical elements that will assist in the telling of Lovecraft's stories. Lovecraft: Nightmare Suite is comprised of six of Lovecraft's popular stories, each of which is narrated primarily by a single actor. I will be telling the story of Nyarlathotep, but will also appearing as Dr. Munoz in Cool Air and Warren in The Statement of Randolph Carter.

I highly recommend reading the stories, which are now in the public domain, here.

Also, please enjoy this trailer by Molotov's projectionist Rachel Marie Wallace.
